About Us

The managing director of Markus Builders P/L is Martin Symons. He has had over 35 years of building experience in all types of building.

Martin has achieved a Bachelor of Applied Science in Building Construction of which was completed in 1985 at R.M.I.T. Since that time he has worked for two commercial builders prior to starting his own construction business in 1988. He has concentrated on building since that first foundation was poured. He has been a Registered Building practitioner both domestically and commercially since 1992 and is currently a member of the Master Builders Association of Victoria.

Martin has been fortunate to have worked overseas in Japan for a client in Australia. That client insisted that Martin would also work on some of their projects interstate.

Over the years the company has worked on many different types of projects. They have ranged from extremely complicated domestic construction to council office alterations, multi-unit developments, dual occupancy projects, home renovations, commercial manufacturing buildings, office fit-outs and public buildings.
